It was truly an honor to be there last night to recognize and celebrate these 11 outstanding recipients of the Julian Wood Memorial Scholarship.

Thanks to the incredible support of this community, we were able to raise these scholarship funds through our 2nd annual JuJu’s Dino Dash on April 18th, which brought together more than 800 participants, 40 sponsors, and dozens of volunteers.
The scholarships totalled $11,000, so each recipient received $1,000.

The overwhelming support shown through this event is a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with a shared purpose: to uplift and invest in the next generation.

Last night, we were proud to honor students who demonstrated hard work, perseverance, dedication, and a strong commitment to their future. Their achievements, character, and determination made them truly deserving of this recognition.

This scholarship was created not only to recognize academic achievement, but also to honor the memory of our son - Julian Wood — a legacy of kindness, strength, love, and community. Through this scholarship, his spirit continues to inspire and make a difference in the lives of others.

We are honored to be a small part of your journey and cannot wait to see all that you accomplish in the years ahead.

To these recipients: we are incredibly proud of you. We hope this scholarship encourages you to continue chasing your goals, overcoming obstacles, and making a positive impact wherever life takes you. Last night was a celebration of everything they have accomplished so far and all the incredible things still ahead.
