Behind every meal is a farmer—and a whole lot of hard work, sacrifice, and heart. 💙🌾💛

This National Farmers Day, the SC FFA Leadership Center says THANK YOU to the farmers who rise early, work late, and keep going through uncertain weather and difficult seasons. We are grateful for the families who carry on generations of farming and those building a new legacy of their own.

We are thankful to play a small part in supporting the 2% feeding America by helping grow the next generation of agricultural leaders. The students who make memories on our marsh carry agriculture’s future with them, and it is a privilege to encourage their passion, leadership, and commitment to serving others.

To our farmers: we see your dedication, we appreciate your sacrifices, and we are grateful for what you put on our tables every day.

🎣☀️ Fish were biting, dodgeballs were flying, and the sweet tea was flowing! That’s our kind of weekend at the SC FFA Leadership Center! 💙💛

Marine & Fisheries Camp 2026 gave us perfect weather and memories on the marsh to last a lifetime! We packed our weekend with charter boat fishing, pier fishing, cardboard crab trap projects, and an educational scavenger hunt at Ripley’s Aquarium to discover sea creatures big and small! 🦈🐠🦀

We even traded our fishing gear for craft supplies to create shell trinkets—a little creativity and a little piece of the coast to take home! 🐚🎨

One of our favorite moments was putting “Living to Serve” into action. Our students picked up trash along SIX MILES of North Myrtle Beach while watching the sunset! Helping our students shape the community that is shaping them is one of our favorite parts of camp. What a beautiful way to give back to the coast that gave us so many memories! 🌅💙

Of course, no camp weekend would be complete without a few dodgeballs, bonfire time, and endless sweet tea! 🔥🥤

Sunshine, salty air, service, and plenty of laughs… turns out learning is pretty fun when this is your classroom! 🌊

🚢🎣 The SC FFA Leadership Center went cruising at Marine & Fisheries Camp! But our first stop wasn’t a tropical island, silly—it was SIX MILES out at sea! 🌊🐟

Our students climbed aboard the Atlantic Star and the Hurricane with Little River Fishing Fleet and reeled in TWO BOATLOADS of fish! From the excitement of each catch to the memories made together, it was quite the adventure!

A huge shout-out to the owner, captains, and amazing crews aboard both vessels! Thank you for taking such great care of our FFA students and giving us a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ experience.

We can’t always count on smooth sailing like we enjoyed this weekend, but we can count on Little River Fishing Fleet’s top-notch customer service! 💙💛

It was a “FISH UP!” kind of weekend at Marine Camp! 🎣🙌

🎣☀️ What a wonderful day fishing on the Cherry Grove Pier!

Our FFA students caught tons of fish, learned the ins and outs of pier fishing—including what to keep and what to release—and enjoyed a day full of fellowship. And the weather? Absolute perfection! 💙💛

A heartfelt thank-you to Mr. Edgar and the entire Cherry Grove Pier team for sharing your knowledge, making us feel so welcome, and loving our FFA students so well. You helped us reel in more than fish—you helped us make memories that will last! 🎣

Training the future of agriculture starts early… and apparently, so does training to defend the family dodgeball title! 💙💛 The next generation, Millie Floyd, made a stop at the SC FFA Leadership Center to get their strategies rolling. Forever Blue—and forever competitive!
