Teamsters Local 769 represents Teamster brothers and sisters in South Florida, from Orlando to Key West. Join us! Stay active in your Union!

This is the official page of Teamsters Local 769 in Miami, FL. We have a long and proud heritage of representing South Florida Teamsters in numerous industries. We take pride in our Union and it's members and will fight for a living wage for all Americans. Our Code of Conduct:

ANOTHER BIG WIN FOR TEAMSTERS AT MIAMI TRANSFER!

Our Heavy Haulers at Miami Transfer have officially ratified their new Collective Bargaining Agreement, delivering significant gains in wages, job security, and retirement benefits!

Wage Increases: Most drivers will receive more than an 18% increase over the life of the three-year agreement, including a $4-per-hour raise in Year One!

Stronger Job Security: An additional step in progressive discipline provides greater protection for our members.

Better Benefits: Increased per diem payments and higher retirement contributions in each year of the agreement.

These improvements are what strong union representation and solidarity deliver. When Teamsters stand together, we win better wages, stronger protections, and a more secure future for our families!

Congratulations to these strong Teamsters who are always up for the next heavy lift!

Teamsters Local 769 would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our generous sponsors and players who joined us today for our 2026 Local 769 Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament!

The beautiful weather & our new location provided the perfect backdrop for a fantastic day of golf, fellowship, and generosity, all in support of the children of our members and their educational futures.

Congratulations to all the teams who walked away with some great prizes, and a special thank you to everyone whose contributions, participation, and support made this event such a success.

Today, October 5th, unions representing workers at Miami International Airport are coming together for the Miami-Dade County Living Wage Rally.

Teamsters Local 769, along with other unions share a common goal: standing together for working people and a better future.

When working people stand together, our voices are stronger. Solidarity is our strength!

Today, Teamsters representatives were at the gates speaking directly with Titan Concrete drivers about the ongoing unfair labor practice charges involving the company’s conduct toward the drivers and their Union.
We will continue to stand up, speak out, and fight for the rights of our members.
When workers stand together, they are stronger. When Teamsters stand together, we don’t back down.
