The Friends of Oleta River State Park is a dedicated and passionate 501(c)(3) nonprofit (citizen support organization) that sponsors events, raises funds, and advances the goals and missions of Oleta River State Park. Oleta River State Park is the largest urban park in Florida offering some of the finest off-road mountain bike trails in the state. Situated between the Oleta River and Biscayne Bay

it provides adventurous water sports with kayaking, stand up paddle boards and canoes for rent. There are 14 rustic cabins for rent and a private sandy beach with pavilions and barbecue grills as well as a playground and butterfly garden A thousand acres of riverine mangroves make Oleta an oasis for native birds and butterflies.
