Women on the Rise! (MOCA North Miami)

Women on the Rise! (MOCA North Miami) We engage girls in art making and critical conversations about body image, relationships, and culture. Women on the Rise!

is a unique gender-specific outreach program that presents the work of contemporary women artists such as Ana Mendieta and Carrie Mae Weems to teenage girls and young adult women throughout Miami-Dade County through partnerships with educational, social justice, and government institutions. activities also include publicatons and conference presentations that draw from our experiences.
