Supporting context:
While the events and inhumanity of the two world wars brought to the minds of governments the idea of building a much more cooperative and united world, it is no less true that the challenges of the third millennium present themselves with all their complexity.
The way in which threats to peace, security and human rights are manifesting themselves remains tangible proof that the greatest international institution, the United Nations, still has more to do for the inhabitants of the planet than ever before.
However, the UN needs the support of the people to achieve its goals. That is why we have created the Kofi Annan Diplomatic Leadership Center for future diplomats from around the world.
Assignment:
To support the work of the United Nations at the university level by enabling students to better understand the United Nations and to engage effectively in the protection and promotion of universal values.
Vision:
To be a framework for reflection and action on the UN and the issues and challenges it faces.
Join us in this ambitious project by giving according to your capacities and generosity using zelles, PayPal or the cash application: $5, $10, $15, $25, $50, $70, $100+.
