That project pretends that the Little Logan River is not an actual historic and natural river protected by Utah code 73-3-29. National Forest Week!

What did you do this weekend? BCI participated in the San Antonio River Foundation Pollinator Tea Party and watched in awe as artist Audrya Flores created this bat sculpture completely out of bat-related plant parts (like agave leaves, palm fronds, and yucca flowers). This biodegradable masterpiece will live in Confluence Park until it decays.

The fishing in the Little Logan River was FABULOUS before the water was diverted away in the winter time. Let's bring that back. Chris Peterson artist.

Trout get stranded every year when the water in the Little Logan River is diverted away for 6 month. We hope this one was saved by good samaritans. This was one of a small group caught in a puddle October 31, 2024.

July 9th I made this little video of the North Branch of the Logan River/Little Logan River in Jens Johansen park. The river is meandering here, like most natural rivers do in open valleys. Man-made canals are completely different. They have noticable berms of the material that was excavated from the artificial channel, they are nearly straight in map view, and they rarely flow right downhill, like the LLR. 100s of documents prove it is a natural river. Help us save it from further degradation.
