Maple and Magnolia update 💕

As usual, Maple is on full security detail keeping watch over everything… while Magnolia is busy taking what appears to be her 7th nap of the day 😴😂

These sweet girls were both spayed yesterday and are doing absolutely amazing! We’re so proud of how well they’re recovering.

Now they’re one step closer to finding the forever homes they deserve. 🏡

✨ Maple is around 8 months old
✨ Magnolia is around 5 months old

Both girls are currently available for adoption or foster. They’ve been through a lot in their young lives, with their owners being deported. We would love nothing more than to see them finally get the love and stability they deserve, together or separately.

Today was a big milestone day for Maple & Magnolia — these sweet girls got spayed and are officially getting ready for adoption! ❤️🐾

They have been patiently waiting in boarding since April 29, and after everything they’ve been through, they are finally ready to start the next chapter of their lives: finding a family to call their own.

These girls came to us from a heartbreaking situation in Southwest Little Rock, where their owners were deported and they were left behind. Normally, Henderson Home Animal Rescue focuses on senior dogs, but there was no way we could turn our backs on these two.

Maple and Magnolia have been through so much together, and you can tell just how deeply bonded they are. It would mean the world to us if they could find a home together because their love for each other is something truly special… but if separate homes are what leads them both to happy endings, we know that’s okay too.

They’ve waited long enough. Now it’s time for their forever families to find them. 🏡💕

✨ Greta’s Glow Up Journey Starts Now ✨

When Greta came to us, it was clear she had been through far too much. But we know there’s a beautiful transformation ahead, and we can’t wait to watch her become the happy, healthy dog she was always meant to be. 💛

We’re looking for the perfect glow up story for this sweet girl, and there are a few ways you can help make that happen.

After everything this girl has been through, Greta is finally getting exactly what she needs most right now… a safe, quiet place to rest, recover, and continue healing.

She still has a journey ahead of her before she’ll be ready to find her forever family, but we are so thankful she now has a loving foster home where she can focus on getting stronger every single day.

From pain and uncertainty to comfort and care — this is what rescue is all about.

Keep cheering Greta on as she continues her road to recovery. We can’t wait to watch this sweet girl transform and eventually be ready for the happily ever after she deserves. 💕

We got some good news about our sweet Leroy today! ❤️

After worrying that the spots in his lungs could be cancer, we were relieved to learn that Leroy is dealing with chronic bronchitis instead. While it’s something we’ll need to manage, it’s a condition we can treat with guidance from his veterinarian, and we’re incredibly thankful for that news.

As for the cancerous tumor on his leg, we do have options. The next step is carefully considering what will give Leroy the best quality of life. At his age, every decision we make will be centered around his comfort, happiness, and making sure he continues to enjoy every day to the fullest.

And speaking of enjoying life… just look at this spoiled boy! 🥰 It’s hard to believe this is the same dog who spent nearly a year waiting in a shelter because no one wanted him. Now he’s living the life he deserves, soaking up all the love, attention, comfy spots, and snuggles from his dad.

Thank you to everyone who has been following Leroy’s journey, cheering him on, and keeping him in your thoughts. This old man is deeply loved, and we’re committed to making every day a good day for him. ❤️
