We had such a fun visit at the Hays Center today! 📸

Arkansas Caregiver magazine stopped by to capture photos of our facility and some of our wonderful members, and we were so excited to show them around!

It was such a neat opportunity to highlight everything that makes the Hays Center special — the friendships, the fun, the programs, and the strong sense of community we’re so proud of.

There’s always something happening here, and we loved getting the chance to share a glimpse of all the joy and connection that fills our center each day!

The room was full of curious, engaged learners supporting one another as they practiced and built new skills together. It was inspiring to see everyone embracing the challenge of learning a new way to communicate and connect.

While the Hays Center is closed today in observance of Juneteenth, we were honored to celebrate together yesterday with a joyful afternoon filled with fellowship, reflection, and fun.

The Juneteenth celebration brought people together to honor freedom, resilience, and the importance of community. We also had the special privilege of celebrating the birthday of one of our longtime volunteers and staff members, Fred Bledsoe, whose dedication and kindness have touched so many lives here at the Hays Center.

Wishing our community a thoughtful and happy Juneteenth as we remember the past, celebrate progress, and continue moving forward together. ❤️🖤💚💛

Yesterday, North Little Rock Senior Citizens Outreach Inc. stopped by the Hays Center to serve a delicious meal to our members, and it was such a wonderful time!

We are incredibly grateful for their continued support, generosity, and dedication to serving seniors in our community. Partnerships like this help make the Hays Center such a special place - not just for activities and wellness, but for connection and fellowship as well.

Our water aerobics class was packed today… and honestly, that’s nothing new! 💦

This class continues to be a member favorite, and it’s easy to see why—great exercise, low-impact movement, lots of laughs, and even better company.

We love seeing so many smiling faces showing up, moving their bodies, and supporting one another. Way to go, Hays Center!

The Hays Center, in partnership with CareLink, is excited to invite our awesome members to participate in the 8th Annual Adult Spelling Bee Community Event on Wednesday, July 23, from 9:00–11:00 a.m.

If you're interested in competing, please sign up in the lobby by July 10th and then stop by the office to pick up your word list and start preparing!

Come test your spelling skills, enjoy some friendly competition, and represent the Hays Center at this exciting community event!

🚗 Please note: Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from CareLink for the event.

🎉 BINGO IS BACK! 🎉

After a long break since February, Bingo made its return to the Hays Center today—and what a fantastic afternoon it was! The room was filled with smiling faces, laughter, excitement, and a little friendly competition as everyone gathered to play!

We were thrilled to see so many members come out and enjoy the fun. There’s nothing better than seeing our community connect, laugh, and make memories together!
