Our next guild meeting will be tomorrow, Monday, October 12th.

Social time starts at 5:30pm and our meeting starts at 6pm. We meet at the North Little Rock Community Center next to the Laman Library.
Visitors are always welcome to come and check out all our activities!

MONDAY CLASSES: There are no classes scheduled for Monday. Our room may be opened for those who want to sit and sew. You need to go to the office to have them unlock the room for you.

PROGRAM: Leah Sample will give us an introduction to the program Electric Quilt (EQ)

AWOL: As of the last meeting, 30 people have signed up for fall AWOL. Dates are October 30-November 1 at Ferncliff Camp. The deadline for payment is the October meeting. You can mail a check if you can’t attend the meeting. Check in is Friday October 30 at 9am.

MEMBERSHIP: Membership Dues for 2027 are now open! Dues are still the low, low price of $25 and are good through December 2027. You may pay at the meeting (cash or check only please).

OCTOBER FAT QUARTER DRAWING: Thanksgiving prints or colors. Bring a fat quarter from your stash to be entered into the drawing.

CHALLENGES:
- UFO Challenge: Bring your #10 project to the October meeting. The number for November is #8.
- Have a Heart Challenge: Bring your completed blocks to Monday’s meeting.
- Scrappy Happiness Quilt Challenge: Make as many blocks as you want to! Directions will be online and in the next newsletter. Blocks will be due at the January meeting.

TERRY LIBRARY QUILT SHOW: the quilts are up!! They will be on display 10/6-12/7.

Just a reminder that AQG will have a table at Family Fest: Made By Hand at AMFA Saturday, September 26th from 10am-1pm! Come by if you’d like to volunteer!

• FAT QUARTER DRAWING THEME: Pumpkins, Leaves colors or prints. Exchange a fat quarter from your stash for a ticket to win a whole stack of FQ’s!

MONDAY WORKSHOP: None. Our room will be open for those who want to sit and sew. You may need to go to the office to have them unlock the room.
SPECIAL NOTE: We have been given two large donations of fabrics and related sewing items. They will be on our Free Table at Monday’s meeting. There are some unique items in this donation. The donator and her mom not only made quilts together, but they also vended at craft shows. If you belong to a group that makes charity items, this would be a great time to take a look! One part of this donation includes LOT of precut and some pre-sewn baby bibs in various stages of completion. There are also accessories
to go with them. If I were to guess, I’d say maybe close to 100 potential bibs are ready to finish. There is also a good selection of Holiday, Halloween, Fall, and a whole bunch of food related prints. A large selection of cross- stitch magazines will also be on the table. Help yourself!!!
