Powerful benefits of one-on-one mentoring! And, it doesn’t even mention the incredible spiritual impact that comes through children learning that they were specially created by God and that Jesus loves them!

We have many local leaders children waiting for a Christian mentor at STEP Ministries.

If you can’t mentor or volunteer, donate! STEP is experiencing explosive growth from 55 to 375 children reached weekly one-on-one in the last 5 years! God did that and continues to grow this as His people support this outreach!

TWO Family Nights at STEP LR launched this school year’s evening mentoring programs for elementary and middle school youth!

Thankful for our partnership with First Baptist Church HP where we hold the mentoring programs in their beautiful gym!

THREE STEP NLR Family Nights this week launched our weekly evening mentoring programs for the school year!

Thankful for Mentor Coordinators Nikita Jackson and Pastor Keith Williams for their hard work and leadership!

It was wonderful to see mentors, mentees and their families connect and have fun!

STEP Rose City Launch Day! How full our hearts were to see mentors, mentees, and families meet and connect for the first time at this newest mentoring center!

Thank you to Pastor Chip Bayer of next door neighbor, Calvary Baptist Church, for stopping in and for your church's part in making this a reality.

Thank you to Landmark Missionary Baptist Church Rose City for cooking and serving a delicious meal for everyone!

Thankful for Rose City Mentor Coordinators Natalie Benjamin and Nigel Spears for their hard work and leadership!

The vision was cast to parents for why we do what we do in evening mentoring clubs - partnering with God to make disciples of Jesus through one-on-one mentoring relationships.

One mentee told his mom as he left, "This is my NEW favorite place! I can't wait to come back next Tuesday!"

Thank you to so many churches, volunteers, and donors who helped make this happen, and we praise God most of all for His provision.

TWO DAYS until the launch of our third mentoring center, STEP Rose City! Today, we are thankful for the many people God has used to make it possible!

From generous financial and in-kind donors to faithful volunteers to partner churches and local businesses to hardworking STEP staff, God has provided for this impactful mentoring outreach to youth in Rose City.

We can't wait for this week when STEP Rose City along with STEP NLR and STEP LR will launch with mentors, mentees, and their families!

THREE DAYS until the launch of our third mentoring center, STEP Rose City!

We want to thank Lesley and Brandon Hopkins of H&H Maintenance Services in Little Rock for totally restoring the OLD flooring downstairs for FREE because of their heart for the children of our community and support of STEP's mission. They worked a miracle on the floors in only a half day!

FOUR DAYS until our 3rd mentoring center, STEP Rose City, launches with mentors, mentees and their families!!

God has provided in so many incredible ways and through many of His faithful people to make this launch possible!

A special thank you goes to Calvary Baptist Church for their partnership and belief in STEP's mission which led them to sell their gym to us and lend their support and assistance in some of the restoration work.

Calvary Baptist Deacon John Haggard has given a Spirit-led hero's work of stepping in as a volunteer general contractor for the extensive restoration when our Brandon Copeland passed away suddenly in June. He worked almost every day and did a good bit of rehab work himself. What a miraculous provision.

And, we want to thank Every Arkansan for their generous donation of their high-quality gym flooring! What an incredible gift!

See below the video of John Haggard putting in place the last piece of the gym floor - the largest jigsaw puzzle ever!

When I asked 70-something-year-old John to share his fitness secret after almost 60 days of working long hours on painting, ceiling installation, and being on his hands and knees putting together the gym floor, he said simply, "God gave me the strength." All glory to God.

We are so thankful to John along with other volunteers who came for Saturday work days!

More thank you's and praises to come! God is faithful!
