Our love and sympathy go out to the family of Ann Cother who passed away on January 24, 2024. She always had a smile on her face and was never afraid to tell you what she thought. She will be missed!

It is with great sadness that we share with you the passing of Bettina Steele on Thursday, November 9, 2023. Her service will be today, November 11, at 2:00 pm at First United Methodist Church of North Little Rock, 6701 JFK Blvd., North Little Rock.

She was such a force behind our center being so great and will be missed by many. Our love and prayers to her family.

As we celebrate Mother’s Day, may we each recall fond memories of those who have been very near and dear to us.

Our deepest sympathies to Rebecca Meek for the passing of her son, David Meek, on May 7, and to Carolyn Dockery on the passing of her son, Jim Culver, on April 25.

Our dear Marjorie Kirby-Forrest passed recently also. Her obituary mentions the clown ministry that she headed for years at NLR Shepherd’s Center. She will be missed.

Sympathies to Denise Eisele, Brian and Brad Heim, family and friends, in the death of Lyle Heim at Sherwood Nursing and Rehab on Sept. 14.

An informal gathering and memorial service honoring the lives of Lyle and Julie Heim will be held on Monday, Sept. 20, at 10 am at the LPOA Pavilion at 4500 Lakeshore Dr. in North Little Rock.

Julie Heim died on Dec. 5, 2020. The Heims were together in life and love for 63 years and were dedicated members of Lakewood UMC.

Lyle was very involved with our Shepherd’s Center in days past.

Please put Ann Clemons on your prayer list as she will have surgery for hip replacement tomorrow.
