Who has stopped by the Little Farm Stop. yet?

St. Joseph Center for Arkansas, a nonprofit formerly based on a farm owned by the organization in North Little Rock more than a year and a half ago, has opened a brick-and-mortar location called the Little Farm Stop at the Breckenridge Village shopping center in west Little Rock.

The Little Farm Stop opened on Oct. 15. The organization announced plans to open the farm store at this location in May.

A re-"cap" from our mushroom workshop this past week!

This past Wednesday, over 20 growers gathered at Dunbar Garden for our Growing Urban Farmers mushroom workshop — and everyone went home with a spore kit and the know-how to build their own outdoor w**e cap bed.

W**e caps are the perfect beginner mushroom: layer wood chips, add spawn, water, and let nature do the rest. No sterile lab required — just a shady spot and a little patience.

Thank you to everyone who came out and got their hands dirty with us. And attendees — check your texts for a little post-workshop gift!

A big "Thank You!" to all of our friends who made today wonderful. Our first day open as Little Farm Stop was amazing because of you! We loved seeing everyone and can't wait to keep on growing!
Psst- tomorrow we get Arkansas apples (including AR Black Apples!) also lettuce, several potato varieties, sweet potatoes, new bread shipment and more!

We had a great trip to NW Arkansas last week to visit The Fresh Greens Project! This beautiful farm grows beautiful lettuces and herbs using Aeroponics! We were also able to score some of our favorite chili crunch from chef Daniel Ernse. Thank you to Spring Creek Food Hub for this experience.

is a regenerative micro-farm located in Cabot, Arkansas right behind Evans Cemetery.

A sustainable micro-farm where spooky meets sustainable, utilizing no-till methods, flame weeding, and natural soil health practices growing fresh, beyond-organic vegetables, greens, herbs, and farm eggs.

Their certified naturally grown produce is available every Thursday night, 5:30-7:00PM, at the Argenta Farmers Market. (Located outside Flyway Brewing in NLR).
