♥️A Day of Giving, Friendship & Fellowship in Southwest District!♥️

The GFWC Ohio Federation Southwest District came together for a wonderful afternoon supporting the Ronald McDonald House Cincinnati, hosted by Director of Juniors Madeline Crish!♥️🏠

Our members had the opportunity to tour the Ronald McDonald House and learn more about the incredible services and support provided to families with children receiving medical care. It was a meaningful experience to see firsthand the difference this organization makes in the lives of so many families!

Together, our members showed their generosity by:

🛍️ Donating much-needed wish list items to help support the families staying at the House.

🥤 Collecting and donating pop tabs to support the Ronald McDonald House.

♥️Learning more about the OFWC 2026–2028 Junior Special Project and our mission to support Ronald McDonald House Charities throughout Ohio!

Following our tour, we continued the fellowship with a delicious lunch at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse! It was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy great food, conversation, and friendship with our Southwest District members.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who joined us, donated items, and helped make this day special! We are so grateful for the warm welcome from Ronald McDonald House Cincinnati and the opportunity to learn more about the amazing work they do each day.

McDonald’s, its franchisees, and customers have a long history of supporting RMHC and its mission of helping families stay close when their children need medical care.

♥️🍟GFWC Ohio Director of Junior Clubs Madeline Crish held her ‘Summer’ Junior Board meeting 9/26/2026 at the Chophouse in Warren. Director Crish introduced our speaker Jennifer Phillips member of GFWC Ohio Warren Junior Women’s League, who spoke on her experience with Ronald McDonald House. Her son, who recently turned 1 was transferred after his birth to a hospital in Columbus. She was able to stay at the area Ronald McDonald House. She told us about items she wished she had in the room. She shared how being able to stay at the RMH allowed her to be close to her son and that was one less worry for her and her family. We had the privilege of meeting her son and see his progress. Director Crish went over the Junior Scorecard and reporting. GFWC Ohio Assistant Junior Director Peggy Bennett went over exciting ideas for Junior Fun Night during Convention. 12 junior chairman were in attendance who reported. Junior fundraising chairman Pam Vines presented items that will be coming in soon to be sold with the new GFWC logo🍟♥️
