If you've spent any time around the Zac Mago Foundation, you've probably crossed paths with Aunt Tonya Cook.

She's not one to seek attention, and finding photos of her was actually quite a challenge because she has spent years perfecting the art of avoiding cameras. 😂 More often than not, she's behind the scenes helping wherever she's needed rather than posing for a picture.

Whether it's a fundraiser, heart screening, or volunteer event, Tonya is always there, ready to lend a hand. She is one of those quiet, steady people who helps keep this foundation moving forward. Her support, dedication, and servant's heart have played an important role in helping us carry out Zac's mission.

Today, we celebrate someone who gives so much of herself without ever asking for recognition in return.

This was a line from a Wiggles song that he loved singing to her over the years, especially because she didn't particularly care for The Wiggles. It became one of those silly little things that always made us laugh and is a memory we'll cherish forever.

There is a belief that only medically trained professionals should perform CPR. The truth is, that misconception costs lives.

This CPR & AED Awareness Week, the American Heart Association is reminding everyone that the power to save a life is in your hands.

CPR isn't just a medical skill, it's a shared human responsibility. You need awareness, confidence, and the willingness to act when every second counts.

🏠 About 3 out of 4 cardiac arrests that occur outside of a hospital happen at home, meaning the life you save could be a spouse, parent, child, neighbor, coworker, or friend.

💪 For adults and teens, Hands-Only CPR can double or even triple a person's chance of survival.

Whether you're at home, at work, in the gym, or cheering from the sidelines at your child's soccer game, cardiac arrest can happen anywhere. That's why parents, caregivers, neighbors, coworkers, and friends are often the “first responders” before the first responders arrive.
