📚✨ Clear Your Shelves, Gilbert Families! | ¡Hagan espacio en sus estantes, familias de Gilbert!

The PTA is already getting ready for Nevada Reading Week 2027: Mystery Meets Imagination! 🔎✨ From now through March, we’ll be collecting new and gently used books of ALL reading levels; picture books, early readers, chapter books, middle grade, young adult and more!

As you make room for all the new books coming home from our Fall and Spring Book Fairs, save those gently loved books and donate them to the PTA! 📖💛 Every donation will help us create a little extra magic for our Gilbert readers during Nevada Reading Week.

What are we planning? 🤔🔎 Well… Mystery Meets Imagination, so you’ll just have to wait and see. 😉👀

📚✨ ¡La PTA ya se está preparando para la Semana de la Lectura de Nevada 2027: Misterio se encuentra con la imaginación! 🔎✨ De ahora hasta marzo, estaremos recolectando libros nuevos y usados en buen estado de TODOS los niveles de lectura; libros ilustrados, para lectores principiantes, libros por capítulos, nivel intermedio, jóvenes adultos ¡y más!

Mientras hacen espacio para todos los libros nuevos que llegarán a casa de nuestras Ferias del Libro de otoño y primavera, guarden esos libros que todavía tienen muchas historias por compartir y ¡dónenlos a la PTA! 📖💛 Cada donación nos ayudará a crear un poquito más de magia para nuestros lectores de Gilbert durante la Semana de la Lectura de Nevada.

¿Qué estamos planeando? 🤔🔎 Bueno… Misterio se encuentra con la imaginación, así que tendrán que esperar para descubrirlo. 😉👀

September 28–October 2 is our Week of Respect!

👑 Wednesday, Sept. 30: HOUSE PRIDE! Dress head to toe in your house color. Capes, tutus, and crowns are welcome!

💬 Thursday, Oct. 1: WORDS COUNT! Wear a shirt with words to show the power of what we say.

💙 Friday, Oct. 2: SOLIDARITY DAY! Wear blue to show you’re a champion for respect and kindness.

🏆 FAMILY HOUSE CHALLENGE: Create a poster together about respect or anti-bullying! Turn it in to Mrs. Mueller by Friday, October 2, to earn 5 House points. Posters will be displayed throughout the school!

💜 Enjoy classroom and schoolwide activities all week as we celebrate respect and kindness!

This year, we’re collecting candy and non-edible treats by grade! Pre-K and Kindergarten will compete together.

Feed your grade’s Candy Monster and help your grade win a special prize during the month of November! 🎉 Prize details are still TBD, but we promise it will be something fun!

We gladly accept non-edible treats, including:

This year, we’re introducing THE BOO BREAK SPACE 💜 A quiet, sensory-friendly space at our Fall Festival where kiddos can step away from the noise and excitement, reset, recharge, and head back to the fun when they’re ready!

But we don’t want to build this space for our families without building it WITH our families. 🫶

👻GILBERT PTA INTRODUCES… THE BOO BREAK! 👻

✨ NEW at this year’s Fall Festival! ✨

We know Fall Festival can be BIG. Big sounds, big crowds, big excitement and LOTS of fun! But sometimes our kiddos just need a little space to reset. 💜

That’s why Gilbert Creative Arts PTA is redesigning the layout of the fall festival and introducing THE BOO BREAK ~ a quiet, sensory-friendly space close to the playground where kids can step away from the excitement to:

🎧 Relax
🍂 Reset
💚 Recharge
🎨 Create
👻 And rejoin the fun when they’re ready!

Whether a child needs five minutes of quiet or a little longer to regulate, The Boo Break is for them.

Different needs belong here.
All kids are welcome.
Same great Fall Festival just a little more space for every kind of ghoul! 👻💜

¡NUEVO este año en nuestro Festival de Otoño!

Sabemos que nuestro Festival de Otoño puede ser GRANDE! Mucha música, mucha gente, mucha emoción ¡y muchísima diversión! Pero a veces nuestros pequeños necesitan un espacio tranquilo para descansar y recargar energías. 💜

Por eso Gilbert Creative Arts PTA rediseñará el festival y presenta EL BOO BREAK ~ un espacio tranquilo y sensorialmente amigable donde los niños podrán alejarse un momento de toda la emoción para:
