"I am a licensed massage therapist in both Florida and New Hampshire, as well as a certified NCBTMB provider and teacher. Since moving to Florida four years ago, I haven’t actively practiced massage, but I still teach my Raindrop Energy class with essential oils.

Florida requires a massage license in order to teach, and even if I want to bring in an out-of-state licensed healthcare professional to assist, they must first obtain a Florida license. Because of this, I’ve had to travel back to New Hampshire to teach at schools and healthcare facilities instead of offering the same opportunities here at home.

I would much rather be sharing my teaching and experience in Florida—my home state—without unnecessary barriers."

"As a licensed massage therapist and a mom of college students, I would love the opportunity to work in different states. A multistate license would allow me to visit my kids at college and still be able to work during the time I’m with them. Hands that heal, heart that travels."

Virginia Massage Professionals — This Matters.

Virginia has already enacted the Interstate Massage Compact (IMpact™).

We are hosting a Virginia-specific informational workshop to:
✔️ Explain what Virginia enacted and why it matters
✔️ Break down what HB579 would change
✔️ Clarify the consequences of creating a second compact
✔️ Answer questions and discuss next steps for Virginia
