We’re looking for 2 great referees for our Fall season and would love your help finding them!

NV Youth Soccer League is hoping to find experienced and reliable referees who can work with us consistently throughout the season. We would love to have the same referees each week so they can get to know our league, our players, and the level and physicality of play we expect.

If you know a referee, coach, former player, or someone who loves soccer, knows the rules, and would enjoy spending Friday nights at the fields with us, please send them our way!

$50 REFERRAL GIFT CARD
If you refer someone we hire for the season, we will give you a $50 gift card as a thank you!

REFEREE DETAILS
4th/5th Grade, ages 9 to 11
9v9 games with 25 minute halves

Friday nights, September 11 through November 6
No games October 30 for Nevada Day
Game times are 5:30 PM, 6:30 PM, and 7:30 PM
Championship Weekend is November 13 and 14

We are looking for referees who are:
18 years or older
Experienced and knowledgeable about soccer and the rules
Reliable and able to commit to the full season or most of it
Able to pass a background check, paid for by the league

Would you take a minute to share this post (or one of our recent posts) with your friends, neighbors, school groups, or community pages? A simple share could help another child find a place to play.

When we took over this league, one of the things we loved most was that it gives kids a chance to keep playing soccer, regardless of their skill level. There are so many children who love the game but never get the opportunity because school teams can only take so many players.

This is personal for our family.

Our son didn't make his high school soccer team his freshman or sophomore year. As parents, it was hard to watch him work so hard and not make the roster. But because this league offers divisions all the way through high school, he was still able to play the sport he loves, stay active, make memories with his friends, and continue enjoying the game.

We know our family isn't the only one. At our son's middle school alone, more than 80 kids tried out, and only 22 made the team. That's nearly 60 kids who walked away disappointed. Across our community, there are hundreds of kids in the same situation every year.

That's why this league matters.

Whether your child didn't make their school team, is just learning the game, or already plays for their school and wants to stay on the field during the off-season, there is a place for them here.

NV Youth Soccer League is a recreational league where:
• No tryouts are required.
• Every player makes a team.
• Divisions are available from Pre-K (3+) through High School.
• All practices and games are held at Aviary Park, conveniently located just off the 215 between Decatur and Aliante.

Our Fall 2026 season is coming up!
• Registration closes July 31.
• Practices may begin as early as August 17.
• Games begin the weekend of September 11–12.
• Every team plays 8 regular season games.
• Players in 2nd grade and older also participate in our end-of-season playoff weekend.
