Did you know that there was going to be a ribbon cutting for the new Mesquite ATLAS site TODAY? It will be at the Mesquite Veterans Center, 840 E. Hafen Lane in Mesquite, NV. If you are going to be by there today, stop by our table! I would love to see our friends!

A big THANK YOU to the VASNHS Acute Care Nursing Team for showing some extra love to the families staying at our Fisher House.

The team provided a wonderful BBQ dinner complete with BBQ ribs, corn on the cob, salads, and desserts for our Fisher House guests. More than just a meal, their generosity provided comfort and fellowship for families who are here supporting their Veterans during medical care.

This is a great example of VA employees caring for not only our Veterans, but also the families who stand beside them.

Thank you, Acute Care Nursing Team, for giving back to our Fisher House families and demonstrating the heart of VASNHS service! ❤

We had a fantastic Zachary Fisher Birthday Open House this week. So many of our friends came out to support and celebrate our local house and the legacy of Zachary Fisher. A special thank you to nvvets -- Nevada Veterans Foundation, the Black Mountain Lions Club, Summerlin Lions Club, David Moore, Capital One, The Hu'la-las and the Razzle Dazzles for making the day extra special by providing food and entertainment. And a huge thank you to our friends that came out to enjoy the beautiful day!

Hope to see everyone at our next event!

Today would have been Zachary Fisher's 116th birthday. In honor of his birthday, Optum came to complete a Day of Service at our local house. They completed cleaning tasks to make the house sparkle for our guests AND baked cupcakes and brownies. It was a great morning!

Thanks to Optum for supporting our lodging families. 💕💕💕

What was an Eagle Scout project a few years ago, has continued to grow and provide gardening, and delicious herbs, for our guests.

We appreciate the support of our community! Without them, we couldn't carry on the legacy of Zachary Fisher. Today would have been Zachary's 116th birthday. We will celebrate it on Wednesday -- hope to see everyone at the house for our celebration.
