This is what Campcraft looked like at yesterday. Pack 5 and Pack 1 Richmond were camping and visited each other for some Trick or Treating! And some Dragon Scouts were met with a Dragon!

The Camp was beautiful. It had some fantastic foliage, the fish were biting, the trails were clear, and 80 families had an amazing time between the two packs!

(Somewhere, there was also a Troop who canoed across the pond to spend the night at Hemlock Ledges! Way to go Troop 51!)

The Pack had a fantastic day at the NK Family day yesterday! Thanks so much to the Parks Department for running an awesome day!!

And many thanks to the scouts of Troop 152 for helping us run the various games we had! It would have been hard to run the archery, fishing or axe throwing without those older scouts leading the way!

Our Scouts had a wonderful time at the South Kingstown Police Department. From learning what police carry on a day to day basis to being in a holding cell and having mug shots taken!

It was a memorable experience for all!

It was great meeting the Scouts from Pack 5 in North Kingstown this morning during their visit to our station to learn more about the South Kingstown Police Department.

Sergeant Iannelli and Officer Vartanian provided a tour of the station, showed the Scouts some of the tools and equipment we use, and answered a lot of great questions—some of which definitely kept us on our toes. We may have met a few future chiefs and detectives in the making.

Thank you to Pack 5 for such a fun and engaging visit. You’re welcome back anytime.
