The White Oak s***t field and the 5 Stand pavilion hosted several “hot shots” this evening. Scott, Noah, Jim, Dennis, Chris, Eric and Mel kept the “birds” flying and dying. The lights were on to highlight these featherless flyers for the boys. If you want to see for yourself, come every Tuesday, Thursday and (Friday - s***t only) evening at 6:00 PM. We are open to the public each of these days.

Range Master Dennis Gagorik recently posted “WORGC s***t safety rules.” They are to be observed by all members, visitors and spectators when on the s***t range. While Dennis wants every member and guest to enjoy their range visit, he wants everyone to be safe when on or near the range. Everyone will be encouraged to adhere to these posted instructions. Thursday evening 08-27-2026 was the conclusion of a 3 month privately organized trap league of local hunting friends who selected WORGC as their choice to meet weekly for some skill sharpening competition.
This well-organized group of young men and women enjoyed the friendly competition and mutual goal of improving their field performance.
They soon expanded to include 5 Stand and s***t for their intended purpose. They concluded with pyramid wobble (see photos).
I publicly would like to thank each of their members for choosing WORGC for the past three months for faithfully using our facilities to gather and improve their skills.
I especially thank Scott and Brittany for organizing and leading the group. It was my pleasure to serve you.
I hope you do it again in the near future.

WORGC member Frank Engwer recently submitted some of his world class woodworking pieces for judgement at both the Westmoreland and Fayette County fairs. It is no surprise that his impeccable creations were awarded “Best of Show.”
Frank, for years, has donated many, many hours of his time to help make White Oak the nice place it is as a friendly facility.

If you would like help improving your s***t score please visit White Oak Rod and G Club at 6:30 PM each Tuesday and Thursday. Dennis Gagorik will be happy to instruct you. For more information please contact Dennis at (412) 417-3946.
The lessons are complimentary and membership is NOT required.
Cost is $6.00 per round (25).
The s***t field is well illuminated when the sun goes down.
