SMALL ACTS. BIG HEARTS. REAL CHANGE. 🐶❤️

Meet Anvi and Ksenia, high school seniors from Texas, and the compassionate young advocates behind Fur-ever Friends Foundation 🌟

Over the past two years, the Fur-ever Friends team has raised $2,415 for Beagle Freedom Project through lemonade stands, bake sales, a car wash, and more.
They’ve also organized four neighborhood door-to-door advocacy campaigns and run a small business that donates 20% of its profits to their BFP fundraiser!

Now, they’re bringing that same dedication to legislative advocacy, meeting with Texas lawmakers to advocate for restrictions on the sale of cosmetics tested on animals.

To Anvi and Ksenia and everyone else in Fur-ever Friends Foundation, thank you for turning your compassion into action and inspiring others to do the same. We’re so grateful for everything you’ve done to support our survivors and help build a kinder world for animals.

After being abandoned alongside his siblings by his previous “family,” Iggy found safety and love at Freedom Fields. He became one of our longest residents, patiently waiting for someone to choose him.

As one of our “honorary beagles,” Iggy was often overlooked—but we never stopped searching for the family he deserved. Now, his wait is finally over! 🏡✨

Iggy has a loving family of his own and a new fursibling named Mabel to share his adventures with. We couldn’t be happier for this sweet boy! 💕

🚨 DUNCAN NEEDS URGENT SURGERY—PLEASE HELP! 🐶❤️‍🩹

After years of neglect and untreated medical conditions, Duncan finally has people fighting for him. Now, we need your help.

Duncan has a massive testicular tumor extending into his groin, making removal especially complicated. He also suffers from spinal arthritis, severe dental disease with abscesses on both sides of his cheeks, and a mass on his leg. 💔

Following his CT scan, his surgical specialist is optimistic that removal may be possible, despite the extensive masses. His surgery is scheduled for October 23.

We’ve already spent over $6,450 on exams and diagnostics, and his surgery could cost $8,000 or more, with additional care still ahead.

Duncan has endured so much. Please help us give him this chance at a better life. ❤️‍🩹

💗 ADOPT GRACE, OUR “HONORARY BEAGLE!” 🐶

This National Pit Bull Awareness Month, we’re shining a spotlight on a sweet girl who deserves to finally be someone’s everything.

Grace survived pound seizure—the cruel practice of shelters selling or giving animals to animal testing laboratories for experimentation. Instead of finding a loving home, she spent much of her early life in an animal testing lab.

Today, Grace is free, but as one of our longest-stay residents, she’s still waiting for a family to call her own. 🥺❤️

Despite her painful past, this happy, affectionate girl LOVES people! She’s always ready for cuddles, playtime, and an adventure. Walks, runs, and hikes are some of her favorite things—along with toys and tasty treats! She’s smart, too, and knows how to sit when asked. 🐾

Grace has so much love to give. She just needs someone to give her the chance she’s waited so long for. Could that someone be you?

Happy 14th Gotcha Day to BFP alum Scarlet! 🐶❤️

Liberated by BFP from an animal testing lab in 2012, this beautiful girl has spent the past 14 years discovering all the love, joy, and freedom she always deserved.

Now the matriarch of her pack, Scarlet shares this special day with her late sister and fellow BFP alum, Abigail. Her family also includes two other BFP alumni, Maddy and Henry Sherman. ❤️

We’re so grateful to Scarlet’s amazing mom for giving her a life filled with love. Here’s what she shared:

“14 years ago today, a scared little wounded bird came home with me. Scarlet, my Beagle Freedom Project girl, has grown into the matron of the house, my gentle shadow and steady heart. Look at that sweet gray face. She’s earned every one of those whiskers. Happy Gotcha Day, Scarlet. Thank you for 14 years of trusting me. And a little love up to Abigail, who I know is still watching over her.” 🐶🐶🪽🌈

Here’s to many more happy, healthy years in freedom, Scarlet! 🥂🐾

October is National Pit Bull Awareness Month, and we’re celebrating with adoptable SIMON! 🐶❤️

What’s to love about pitties?
💕 They can be affectionate cuddle buddies.
🧸 Their silly, playful personalities bring so much joy.
🧠 They’re smart and can thrive with positive training.

Simon, our handsome beagle–pit bull mix, is still looking for his forever home! He’s silly, cuddly, chill, and potty trained. He loves toys, playtime, snuggles, sunbathing, and every human he meets! 🥰

He’s also been working with a trainer and knows “sit,” “stay,” “lay down,” and “come.” Very treat motivated, he takes his rewards gently! ❤️

We rescued Simon from a shelter’s euthanasia list, where he was going to lose his life simply to make space for another dog. He deserved better. All pitties do—and they can make wonderful companions. 🐾
