Feed Hunger!!! You know, it’s the humanitarian thing to do. There are no good reasons for hunger, (Food Insecurity) in America. That sanitized term really bothers me every time I hear it used on TV or read it used in print media. Starving people aren’t experiencing “food insecurity” they are experiencing Hunger one of the basic human needs.

The Entertainment Industry Hunger Project is proud to have partnered with the Hollywood Food Coalition in the past and to make a donation during these challenging pandemic times. The Hollywood Food Coalition is exactly the kind of organization I wanted to support when I founded TEIHPI I think my insight was LA didn’t need another organization doing emergency feeding but instead needed a way to rescue high quality food that would otherwise be sent to a landfill. My vision of 3 virtuous circles never came to be but we did help feed thousands. Please join us if you can and make a donation.

3 virtuous circles.

1.4 Million people in L.A. County can't afford food. YOU can make a difference. We feed and serve the immediate needs of the hungry every night of the year so they can build better lives. The Hollywood Food Coalition, formerly The Greater West Hollywood Food Coalition, has been feeding hot, nutritio...

Food for thought about Feeding Hunger.

I Volunteered At 200 Food Banks Across The U.S. Here’s What I Learned About Hunger In America.

I realized I had no idea how many hungry people there were all around us.

We need to lend our voices to stop this punishing rule change. Please take a couple of minutes to comment. Thank you.

Food For The Hungry Shouldn't Have A Time Limit
Oppose A Harmful Proposed SNAP Rule

Tell the Administration: It’s unacceptable to take food away from struggling workers and families. Scroll down to find out how.

Food assistance is at risk—again.

Federal law already requires that states limit SNAP eligibility to just three months out of every three years for unemployed and underemployed adults without dependent children unless they can document 20 hours of work a week.

Now the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has proposed to make those time limits even harsher. USDA’s proposed rule would undercut states’ ability to waive these harsh time limits in many areas where there are too few jobs. By USDA’s own estimates its proposal would eliminate SNAP benefits for an additional 755,000 adults and cut SNAP benefits on a ten year basis by $15 billion

Food assistance is at risk--again. Just months after Congress and the Administration debated and reauthorized SNAP through the Farm Bill, the Administration is now proposing to implement, through executive action, what it failed to secure through legislation.

The Entertainment Industry Hunger Project Inc & Rock Can Roll Inc would like to thank the production of THE BREAKS, which premiers on VH1 Feb 20th at 9/8c, for letting us recover their leftover food after lunch and helping to feed many people in homeless shelters and soup kitchens. The same goes for BULL, HOMELAND, KEVIN CAN WAIT, THE GOOD FIGHT and SEVEN SECONDS . These shows in production and many more that have wrapped have helped thousands of people get awesome meals and have saved food that would have been carted to the dump.
