Every Monday night the Celtic Arts Center offers a free introductory Irish language workshop online via Zoom for complete beginners that starts at 7PM. In addition, we host an in-person Learners session at the Mayflower Club where musicians can learn and practice traditional Celtic tunes. At 8PM there is a free Irish céilí dance workshop for both beginner and intermediate level students. All that

is followed by the Center's famous traditional music seisiún where singers and musicians from all across the L.A. area gather to play and share their love for the music of the Celts. There is no admission fee for performers or audience members and everyone is welcome to participate or just listen and watch. You may also hear the recitation of a Celtic-themed poem or even a joke told in Irish! The Center has seen many of its young member traditional Celtic musicians and performers grow into accomplished performers who successfully tour and compete both in the U.S.

Our hearts go out to our membership, families and friends who have been affected by the recent fires. If you want a break from the stress, come join us for dancing, music, drinks, fellowship and lots of hugs. We will be there with open arms. Beginner session starts at 7, followed by dance at 8 and regular music session from 9 to 11 at the Mayflower 11110 Victory, NoHo.

It’ll be a festive holiday party with performances as well as some artisan crafts for sale.

Come in, grab a seat and a drink, shop, and enjoy the entertainment and the sparkly Yuletide goodness with us!

There will be all kinds of beverages available for purchase at the bar.
If you would like to share some treats with your fellow Celts, feel free to bring your favorite holiday munchies!* No crock-pots or dips, though, and please practice good food safety and cleanliness standards.
