Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
Memorial Day is more than the unofficial start of summer. It is a day of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance. Because of their courage, sacrifice, and devotion, we are able to enjoy the freedoms and blessings that are too often taken for granted.
To the families who carry the weight of an empty chair, a folded flag, a name etched in stone, or a memory held close — we are forever grateful. Your loved ones’ service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
May we honor them not only with our words today, but with how we live every day: with kindness, gratitude, humility, and a deep respect for the freedoms they helped protect.
Today and always, we remember.
