We are a Connecticut based nonprofit and do not have chapters. Bikers Against Animal Cruelty, Inc. (B.A.A.C.) is a licensed 501(c)(3) comprised of an organized group of compassionate motorcycle enthusiasts who advocate against animal cruelty, promote responsible pet ownership and help to defray the costs of emergency veterinary care for ownerless victims of cruelty and neglect. All donations/charitable contributions will follow Federal guidelines.

For our out of the area friends - check your local numbers to call for animals in distress. It’s going to be hot for the next few days. Remember, each state is different as far as laws (if there are any) concerning animals left in the elements.

This kind of heat is DEADLY. Keep your pets AT HOME, keep them INSIDE, keep them HYDRATED and COOL.

Even 15 minutes outside may be too long for some breeds. If your pet is outside for a potty break, it should be kept SHORT and you should never leave them unattended.

Louder for those in the back. DON'T LEAVE YOUR PETS IN THE CAR.
If you see a dog in a vehicle, call 911. State laws vary on window breaking, etc. And while we're 100% sure its' worth helping the dog, you may want to know the laws in your state.
**On a side note, people with certain illnesses, circulation problems, etc. who don't feel heat - be aware of the signs of heat distress in your pets. You may feel cool, but your pet won't.
