Yesterday, Day Kimball Health at Home was proud to bring the voice of Northeastern Connecticut to Hartford for an important conversation about Medicaid funding and access to affordable healthcare.

We thank Governor Ned Lamont, Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz, and Comptroller Sean Scanlon for highlighting the impact these issues have on communities across our state.

Executive Director, Jennifer LeDuc, RN, MSN, joined the press conference to emphasize how adequate Medicaid funding plays a vital role in supporting the essential home health services that vulnerable individuals and families need to be safe, healthy, and independent at home.

As Jennifer shared, “Investing in home and community-based services, including behavioral health support, can help prevent costly hospitalizations, support families, and make Medicaid dollars go further.”

Day Kimball Health at Home will continue advocating for sustainable access to high-quality care for the patients, families, and communities of Northeastern Connecticut.

Some great news from Day Kimball Medical Group.

Day Kimball Health (DKH) is relocating its Day Kimball Medical Group family medicine practice, currently located at 7 Kennedy Drive in Putnam, to a new location on the Day Kimball Hospital campus.

The practice will see its last patients at the Kennedy Drive office on Thursday, April 30, and reopen at 330 Pomfret Street on Monday, May 4. Read the full story: https://bit.ly/4tR7zui
