Today marks 111 years since the darkness of 1915, a time when the ancestral lands of the Assyrian peoples became a landscape of profound loss. We pause to honor the thousands of lives extinguished—the vibrant cultures, the ancient traditions, and the countless families torn apart by the Assyrian Genocide Seyfo.
True healing requires more than the passage of time; it requires the courage of memory and the dignity of recognition. We stand in solidarity with the survivors' descendants, whose very existence is a testament to an unyielding spirit. May their stories never be silenced, and may our collective remembrance serve as a solemn promise to protect humanity against such atrocities ever again.

Shato Athorayto Brikhto! Happy Assyrian New Year!

As we welcome a new year, we carry forward a story that stretches back thousands of years—one of resilience, faith, and identity that has never faded.

This photo, taken in Worcester in 1922, is a powerful reminder of that legacy. Far from our ancestral homeland, Assyrians gathered with pride, holding onto their culture, their language, and each other. They built community. They preserved tradition. They endured.

Today, we stand because they stood.

May this new year bring strength, unity, and hope to Assyrians everywhere as we honor our past and build a future worthy of those who came before us.
