Twenty Years of Memories, Friendship, and Trout Fishing
What an incredible day we shared at our 20th Annual Susie-Q Farm Trout Rodeo on Saturday, May 30th!
With nearly 30 mobility-impaired anglers and more than 70 participants, volunteers, family members, and friends in attendance, we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. The sun was shining, the trout were biting, and the smiles along the banks of Smith Creek said it all.
As we celebrate this milestone event, our hearts are filled with gratitude for Johnny and Tina Grace, who have hosted this rodeo for all 20 years. From the very beginning, they have opened not only their beautiful farm but also their hearts to our Virginia Wheelin' Sportsmen family. Year after year, they have welcomed us like family, provided wonderful meals, and given our anglers access to a beautiful stretch of trout-filled water that has created countless memories.
Over the past two decades, hundreds of anglers have experienced the joy of fishing at Susie-Q Farm, many catching their first trout and all enjoying the fellowship that makes this event so special. None of it would have been possible without the Grace family's generosity, dedication, and friendship.
To Johnny and Tina, and to all of our volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who helped make this year's event another success—thank you. Your kindness and commitment continue to make a difference in the lives of the sportsmen and women we serve.
Here's to 20 wonderful years and many more memories yet to come!
Thank you, Grace Family, for making Susie-Q Farm feel like home. 🎣❤️
