Greeting 2026 D.R. mission team,

We start our corporate prayer coverage for the mission team in one week! Our 300 plus Team will take Hope, Help and Healing to the people of the Dominican Republic but, our first and most important action is to cover and saturate our team and all that is involved with prayer.
The morning prayer call for the Dominican Trip will meet Monday through Friday beginning Monday June 8th through Friday June 19th at 7:30am - 8:00am

This is key to every successful mission trip is the prayer that goes before it to prepare the way.
Hope you will join us each week day morning at 7:30am as we place a prayer shield over the 2026 Mission team.
If you are not going to the DR this year you can still join us for prayer!!!

Who is Dr. Damita Williams?
Dr. Damita Williams is a renowned nurse executive with over four decades of experience in healthcare leadership. She's currently the National Senior Director for Nursing Quality at Ascension, a non-profit health system. Dr. Williams is a proud Ball State University alumnus, having earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the institution. She's also served on the university's foundation board and Black Alumni Council.
Some of her notable achievements include ¹ ²:

- D Magazine's Nursing Excellence Award
- Becker's List of 149 Black Healthcare Leaders to Know
- Mentor of the Year for Hospital Corporation of America's Executive Development Program

- Chief Nursing Officer at Medical City Fort Worth and Methodist Children's Hospital
- Director of Clinic Operations for Hope International Ministries' medical missions in the Dominican Republic (19 years)

- Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University
- Master's degrees in Nursing Administration and Advanced Leadership Studies
- Certified Pediatric Nurse and Executive Nursing Practice
Dr. Williams is passionate about mentoring novice nurse leaders and has served in various professional organizations, including the American Hospital Association and American Organization of Nursing Leadership. She was recently honored with the Ball State Lifetime Achievement Award for her outstanding contributions to healthcare ¹.

Yesterday these beautiful Leather Bound Full Life Study Bibles we handed out to the Congress of The Dominican Republic. Each one personalized with the Name of the Congressman and the Region they serve!Hope International Ministries was grateful to be instrumental in making this happen!

Good Morning everyone!
Because of the abuses we have all seen of appeals for funds on social media - I avoid doing so if at all possible.

HOWEVER, I do not apologize today - because this "ASK" is not for Hope International Ministries, IT'S FOR THE PRECIOUS PEOPLE OF THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC who have experienced devastating flooding sweeping away villages, the orphanage, seniors home, hospital, etc, etc....

$20 will feed a family for a month..... we will purchase everything IN COUNTRY to help local business get back on their feet. Medicine to bring healing to the sick and hurting...

Hope International Ministries receives NO financial assistance at all from any denomination or fellowship. We are a FAITH funded ministry.
THEREFORE, Pastors, we need your help!
