🌍✈️ What an incredible morning at North Fort Myers Rotary!

We were privileged to hear from our very own Dr. John Mina as he shared stories and insights from his fascinating journey to Mongolia. From experiencing the rich culture and strong sense of family to staying in traditional Mongolian accommodations, Dr. Mina took us on an unforgettable adventure without ever leaving our seats.

Dr. Mina has faithfully served our community as a podiatrist for over 43 years and has been a dedicated member of North Fort Myers Rotary since 1982, including serving as Club President and being named Rotarian of the Year in 2020. His passion for service, travel, and lifelong learning continues to inspire us all.

Thank you, Dr. Mina, for reminding us that the world is full of opportunities to connect, learn, and appreciate the values that unite us across cultures.

Today’s guest speaker, John Jacobsen, delivered an insightful presentation on Florida’s homeowners insurance crisis and the challenges facing policyholders across our state. His experience working on both the insurance carrier and policyholder sides provided a balanced and thoughtful perspective on a topic impacting so many families.

Grateful for another meaningful morning with the North Fort Myers Rotary. Today we welcomed Max Costanzo, Director of Development for Harry Chapin Food Bank, and learned more about the incredible impact their organization is making across Southwest Florida.

The work being done to fight hunger and serve families in our communities is inspiring, and it was an honor to hear about the partnerships and leadership helping move that mission forward. Thankful for organizations and leaders who are committed to serving others so well.

Great morning at the North Fort Myers Rotary hearing from Nick Meyers with the North Nation 6U All-Star Team at the North Fort Myers Recreation Center.

His message was a powerful reminder that youth sports are about so much more than winning games. They are about building character, teamwork, dedication, confidence, and helping shape the next generation of leaders.

The North Fort Myers Rotary Golf Tournament at Magnolia Landing was an incredible success. From our players and sponsors to the volunteers who made it all happen, this event was a true reflection of what community is all about.

Because of your support, we’re able to continue making a meaningful impact right here in our community. That’s what Rotary is all about…service above self, and showing up for one another.
