We are honored to announce our latest scholarship recipient, Lt. Justin Dowd!

Justin is currently pursuing higher education while supporting his family, working full-time, and serving in the US Navy Reserve. We are glad this scholarship will be put to great use and are excited to see Justin continue to accomplish great things! He is planning on working to serve communities in need, especially service members, first responders, and underserved rural areas.

Meet Reede Walke, a Marine Corps Veteran, Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and DNP student at Florida Atlantic University. With the help of a Uyeno Foundation scholarship, Reede is easing financial burdens and focusing on his mission to expand mental health services for Veterans and under served communities.
