NRT's Sheep Pasture The Natural Resources Trust of Easton
Headquartered at Sheep Pasture

The Natural Resources Trust of Easton (NRT), is a member supported, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to environmental education and land conservation. The NRT runs Sheep Pasture, a beautiful 154-acre land trust located on Main Street in North Easton. Sheep Pasture is comprised of walking trails through amazing habitats, like meadows, forests, and streams. Sheep Pasture is home to many

farm animals, including, chickens, geese, goats, a cow and of course sheep! The NRT Education Department at Sheep Pasture offers a variety of environmental programs for groups interested in learning more about local ecology. Our on-site and outreach programs are suited for all ages, including preschoolers, K-12 students, college students, scouts, families, and adults. Also at Sheep Pasture, the NRT operates a summer nature camp, partners with area school departments to provide programs for their students, and hosts the popular fall NRT Harvest and Craft Fair, which has routinely attracted over 15,000 visitors in a single day.

What keeps campers coming back to Sheep Pasture Nature Camp?

For some, it's their favorite activities like ponding and Predator Prey.

For some, it's traditions like wood cookies and tie-dye day.

For some, it's simply spending summer in the sun, making new friends.

We love creating camp memories year after year. To all our former and current campers who still know every word to their favorite camp songs, that the "quiet coyote" signal means our ears are open (and our mouths are shut), and that time being outside is time well spent, thank you for making SPNC memorable year after year.

There are still a few spots left in select sessions this year! Head to nrtofeaston.org/spnc to register.

Big changes are happening around Sheep Pasture! Our feathered flock is settling into brand-new chicken coops designed to give them more space, better shelter, and a cozy new place to call home. We’re so excited to continue improving our campus for both our animals and the visitors who love them. 🐓
