We are dedicated to providing affordable and timely organic certification with excellent customer service. Baystate Organic Certifiers is operated by Massachusetts Independent Certification, Inc. MIC is a non-profit business incorporated in the state of Massachusetts, dedicated to sustainable agriculture and food certification, organized as a 501(c)3 corporation. MIC is dedicated to providing affo

rdable certification services to farms using sustainable agriculture practices and to food processing and handling operations that produce sustainable agriculture products. Through its Baystate Organic Certifiers program, MIC is dedicated to providing affordable and timely organic certifications to farmers in the Northeastern United States, and to processors and handlers in the continental United States. Welcome back to The Best of Baystate series. Today we are highlighting Mountain View Farms LLC. Certified with Baystate since 2016 and located in Easthampton Massachusetts. Owners Ben Perrault & Elizabeth Adler grow a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, flowers, and herbs on close to 110 acres. Mountain View Farm sells their beautiful produce through a CSA and at their small farm store keeping their community loaded with quality organic goodies throughout the year. Today for The Best of Baystate series we are getting into fungi growing with 7 Falls Mushroom Farm. Certified Organic with Baystate since 2014 and located in Higganum, Connecticut.
Owned and operated by Rick Baxley, 7 Falls Mushroom Farm grows a variety of mushrooms including Shiitake, Lion's Mane, Grey Dove Oyster Mushrooms, and even Shiitake Inoculated Logs on 14 acres.

Today we are highlighting Hawk Rock Holdings LLC dba Three Peaks Maple Syrup. They have been certified with Baystate since 2017 and are located in Newark, Vermont. Three Peaks Maple has over a thousand acres of prime maple stands where they make maple syrup, maple granulated sugar, maple candies, maple cream, and maple sugar crumble. Maple goodness in so many ways!
Their maple products can be found at their farm store, online, wholesale, or bulk to processors.

Have a dreamy glimpse of Beets & Blooms Farm LLC for our Best of Baystate series!
Located in East Hampton Connecticut, they have been certified with Baystate since 2023. Owners Brittany Hall and Caley Brooks grow flowers, fruit, seedlings, vegetables, and herbs on their 2 acres farm. Beets & Blooms Farm sells their produce at local farmer’s markets, through their CSA, wholesale, or retail. They help to keep fresh, organic produce available for their surrounding community.

They have been certified with Baystate since 2018 and are located in Columbia, Connecticut.
Owned and operated by Susan Mitchell, Cloverleigh Farm grows a variety of vegetables, flowers, herbs, and seedlings. They have a CSA and sell their produce wholesale.
