We did it!!! We took MBTA transit to the New England Aquarium/Quincy Market and made it back before first flakes fell. It was great to get the girls out to enjoy this day before we’re stuck inside. An urban hike is still a hike! Please stay safe in this storm. ⛄️❄️🌨️🚊🚇🐡🐠

Update:⭐️THE GIRLS EARNED FIRST PLACE!⭐️

This past Saturday, Troop 13G participated in their very first Klondike derby at Camp Norse. We are so very proud of the sportsmanship, team work and scout spirit they displayed. You impressed many scouters out there. We would like to thank Mr. Ferry and Mr. Santos for helping them be prepared for this challenge. We are still waiting on results. Great job Ladies!⚜️🛷❄️🪢🔥🪵

She has had a very busy summer/fall attending Navy boot camp and settling into her training as Machinist mate⚓️. Your troop is so very proud of you today and always. We had a really fun and eventful day at our Scoutsgiving today. Turkeys were roasting in trash cans and when they were done they were so delicious😋. While they were cooking, the girls worked on Klondike derby skills with Mr. Ferry. They practiced fire building, snow shoe race, milk crate stacking, knots and hatchet throwing. Then all of our family and friends came to enjoy dinner together. Wonderful day! 🦃💕⚜️

⚜️Troop 13g has been very busy this fall! This week we began the skating merit badge. Then we went to Forrest Family Fun Center to practice all of the fun requirements and the girls did not disappoint. They showed terrific sportsmanship. Great job girls!!! ⚜️🛼

⚜️A few weekends ago, the troop earned Emergency Preparedness🚨🚑🦺 at our fall camp out. They worked so hard together and finished with a hike which included a real lost scout emergency scenario. Great job ladies and thank you to Mr. Santos for teaching the girls real life skills.⚜️
