It is that time of year again for the Way Station's Holiday Gift Card drive. Please consider donating and help an unhoused or housing insecure family have a holiday meal. There are three ways to donate:
1) Donate cards directly to the Way Station. You can purchase the gift cards and bring them directly to the Way Station. Contact Danny to make arrangements.
2) Donate cards through the mail. You can purchase the cards and mail them to PO Box 1888 North Conway NH 03860. Please include your name, address (or email), and phone number.
3) Financial donation specific to the Holiday Gift Card Drive. Donate money electronically from our web page at www.waystationnh.org, directly through the Way Station, or mail to the above address. Please be sure to indicate that it is specific to the Holiday Gift Card Drive.

❤️ On Sundays, we like to pause and remember what makes our little thrift shop so special. It’s our wonderful volunteers, the friendly faces who come through our doors, and the shared spirit of caring for our neighbors throughout the Mount Washington Valley. Together, through countless small acts of generosity, we help support members of our community who could use a helping hand. We’re thankful to everyone who makes that possible.

🍂 And as the days grow colder and the season of giving draws closer, here’s a little thought to carry with you. Is there someone in your life who could use a little extra warmth or a reason to smile? Perhaps a friend having a difficult time, a relative whose birthday is coming up, or someone who would simply appreciate knowing they’re being thought of. Sometimes a small, unexpected gift can say, “I’m thinking of you, and you matter.” If you happen to spot a little treasure in our shop that brings someone special to mind, perhaps it could become one of those quiet acts of kindness that makes an ordinary day feel extraordinary. May we all find little ways to share warmth, hope, and happiness with one another. 💛

Case Manager: Way Station is looking for a case manager to help provide additional services to its clients who face homelessness or are housing insecure. This role will coordinate with operational staff to connect clients with appropriate services to help stabilize and improve outcomes. Preference for related education, licensing and experience. We envision this being a part-time position with competitive compensation. Sometimes an event is so much more than the event itself. Our 3rd Annual Friend Raiser Benefit Concert was more than an event; it was a gathering filled with music, laughter, familiar faces, new friends, and an extraordinary sense of community.

Our benefit concert, featuring Jed Wilson and Heather Masse, joined by special guest Dave Kobrenski, raised more than $32,000 to support the Way Station and our mission to provide services, connection, and support to people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity throughout Carroll County.

While our greatest success could not be measured in dollars, the heart of the evening brought together residents of the Mt. Washington Valley, visitors, volunteers, donors, local businesses, and longtime Way Station supporters. Guests filled the performing arts center, tapping their toes, singing along, and enjoying a joyful, spontaneous evening of deep human connection.

The Way Station extends its heartfelt thanks to every person, business, organization, volunteer, musician, donor, and supporter who helped make the 3rd Annual Friend Raiser possible.

🙏 This Sunday, we pause from the bustle of racks and shelves to simply say thank you. To every donor who walked through our doors with bags of gently loved items—you gave more than objects; you gave opportunity. To every volunteer who sorted, steamed, priced, and arranged with patient hands and cheerful hearts—you are the quiet engine that keeps this place running. Your time is a gift we do not take for granted, and your faithfulness humbles us. This thrift shop is not a building; it is a living chain of kindness, and you are every link.

🕊️ And to every customer who browses, buys, and carries a little piece of our shop into your home—you complete the circle. Your purchases transform donated goods into tangible help for neighbors in need right here in the Mount Washington valley. Because of you, families find warmth, children find comfort, and struggling hearts find a hand up. This is the mission of Christ Episcopal Church made real—not in grand sermons, but in small, daily acts of giving and receiving. We are deeply grateful to be part of this valley, and part of this shared story of care.

We are open Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. along with Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
