The June 15 deadline for 4-H fair entries is almost here!

Whether you’re showing animals, entering Exhibit Hall projects, participating in the Pint-Size Pet Showcase, or organizing a club display, now is the time to submit your entries.

4-H Volunteer Tour of the Mount Washington Observatory

If you are a 4-H volunteer who loves exploring our world and sharing your passion and discoveries with youth, this trip to the summit of Mount Washington may be for you.

Join us for a trip up the Mt. Washington Auto Road to the summit for a tour of the Mount Washington Observatory and discussion about using citizen science and problem-based learning to engage youth in their environment.

All NH 4-H members ages 8+ must have ALL project animals entered into ZSuite by tonight, June 1, to be eligible for NH 4-H animal events, fairs, and shows this season.

June 1 is the deadline to enroll ALL NH 4-H project animals in ZSuite for the 2026 show season.

Even if you’re still deciding which fairs or events you’ll attend, animals must still be entered by June 1 to remain eligible.

Is the Moon really made of green cheese? Of course not, but this 4-H challenge will help you learn more about our nearest neighbor in the night sky. The 4-H Moonlight Challenge is a self-guided Astronomy Pathway Project for families, friends, and 4-H clubs who are interested in learning more about the Moon. To complete the challenge, you must observe the phases of the Moon, plan a backyard skygazing night, go out to view the moon and night sky, and keep track of your observations in an Astrojournal. Individuals who complete the challenge will receive a 4-H Moonlight Challenge Patch!

Carroll County now has 18 newly certified babysitters ready to take on their first jobs with confidence! They’ve been trained in essential skills like basic first aid, child safety, and age-appropriate activities to keep kids engaged and cared for. Thank you to our speakers and a huge thank you to the Friends of Moultonborough Public library for sponsoring this course.
