🌻 Did you know? The Elf Sunflower became North College Hill’s official flower through Resolution 38-2017!

To continue beautifying our city with bursts of color and love, I made a motion last night during our Council Meeting, to plant Elf Sunflowers at our park signs and the North College Hill entrance signs.

A huge shoutout to Mary Jo Zorb - North College Hill City Council, who championed the sunflower movement years ago and volunteered countless hours planting rows of sunflowers in our city in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Her green thumb helped bring beauty and joy to North College Hill🌻💛

Today, I had the privilege of attending the final Mass at St. Margaret Mary Church in North College Hill alongside Ms. Zorb, who grew up in this parish and holds many cherished memories here. I attended in support of her, my neighbors and the entire church family during such an emotional and meaningful day.

It was truly humbling to learn more about the rich history and deep faith that has shaped this community for generations. Sending love and prayers to the St. Margaret Mary family. God bless.

Tonight I had the honor of being present and recognized by name as an elected official, at the Cincy Women’s Political Caucus ’26 Outstanding Achievement Awards Reception. I am truly humbled to have been in a room filled with so much excellence, leadership, and purpose.

The mission of the Cincy Women’s Political Caucus is to increase women’s participation in the political process and support women in public leadership, and tonight was a beautiful reminder of why women in politics matter now more than ever.

Seeing our Hamilton County Commissioners, our Vice Mayor, women judges, elected officials, and leaders gathered in one room was powerful and inspiring. Congratulations to all of tonight’s honorees. It was truly an honor to stand among excellence.

A room full of beautiful people gathered to celebrate and make today a historical day. đź’š

Tonight was about learning, stretching, and dreaming bigger for the future of our beautiful city of North College Hill.

Honored to attend the Founders Event for Lighthouse Youth & Family Services and reflect on the bold vision of the African American church women who, in 1969, saw a need and answered the call with courage, excellence, and servant leadership. Their hard and often unseen work created opportunities, healing, and hope for generations of young people and families.

As we continue developing our community, I am inspired to meet young people where they are, listen deeply, and build spaces where families can thrive. Honoring those born to serve reminds us that real change begins with people willing to care beyond themselves. Barriers are not an option.
