Palmetto Military Support Group PMSG is a private organization. It is not a part of the DoD or any of its components and it has no governmental status.

PMSG Mission
To bridge the gap between the greater Charleston community and our military service members through volunteering, fundraising, engagement and education.

We are so blessed to have Friends of Fisher House Charleston. Please spread the word and help support the great work they do supporting our veterans and military families!



"Who does what at the Fisher House?" It comes up on nearly every tour. The short answer: the Foundation built the house. The VA runs it. The community keeps it a home.

Our new article walks through the full partnership, from Zachary and Elizabeth Fisher's first house in 1991 to the day Charleston's community bought the land at 150 Wentworth Street to bring one here.

Since welcoming its first families in January 2018, the Charleston Fisher House has served 9,303 veteran families and saved them $5.76 million in lodging costs. Every meal, every ride, and every hotel night when the house is full comes from this community.
