Living out the scriptures ~ In Matthew 22:39, Jesus calls for us to “Love our Neighbors as ourselves”. Yesterday Deb, Ellen, and Tiyesere demonstrated this by visiting a few of our village neighbors sharing bible scripture and praying for their families. Thank you to everyone who help us provide Bibles in the Chichewa and Tumbuka languages here in Malawi. Most of the Malawians we work with through Discipleship Bible Studies have never been able to own a copy of the Bible in their own language. Yesterday we received 80 Bibles. Today 12 of these Bibles will be given out to ladies who recently joined one of our women’s groups. These Bibles will help these women to study, grow in faith, and take the message of Christ’s forgiveness into their families and villages.

It’s been quite a while since our last post.

On Saturday we invited the men and women from all of our bible study groups to come to our house for a time of prayer, worship, and testimony. Over 80 men and women came and we heard how the word of God is changing lives!
