🌟💙 What an exceptional morning at the Rotary Club of North Charleston Breakfast! 💛⚙️

Our powerhouse speaker this morning was the amazing Rebecca Walker, Immediate Past Assistant Governor for Rotary District 7770! 👏👏👏

Rebecca joined us to share more about the District 7770 Foundation and all that we can accomplish when Rotarians work collectively to make a difference. 🤝🌎❤️ When we bring our time, talents, resources, and hearts together, our impact reaches far beyond our individual clubs! ✨

Rebecca also serves as Regional Manager for Self-Help Federal Credit Union and shared some of the incredible work their organization is doing in our communities. 🏦💙

And of course, we couldn’t have Rebecca visit without a little friendly competition! 😂👠 Rebecca and our President, Philicia Baugh, are dear friends who LIVE for a good shoe showdown! 👠🔥 Let’s just say, when these two are in the same room, checking the footwear is mandatory! 😂👀

🌍🇩🇪✈️ What a morning at the Rotary Club of North Charleston Breakfast! 💙💛

We were absolutely DELIGHTED to welcome home Alex, a Military Magnet Academy student and Rotary Youth Exchange student sponsored by our club! Alex recently returned from an incredible YEAR in Germany, and we could not be more proud of him! 🎉👏🏽

Alex took us along on his journey as he shared stories about his host family 🏡, the friendships he made 🤝, attending school in Germany 📚, trying new foods 🥨, navigating cultural differences, traveling, and experiencing everyday life in another country.

And let us tell you, Alex represented his school, our club, and our community so well! 🌟 Watching a young person step outside of what is familiar, embrace a new culture, and return home with greater confidence and a whole new perspective is exactly why Rotary Youth Exchange is so special.

A HUGE thank you to our very own Leigh and Cal! 💐👏🏽 These two have led our club's Youth Exchange program for years, giving their time and hearts to help make experiences like Alex's possible.
