Since 1946, the mission of the Rotary Club of North Charleston is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. Of the things we think say, or do, we follow the FOUR WAY TEST:
1. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned? Our main fundraiser is the Rotary Roundball Classic; which allows us to award scholarships to local high school students. We also raise funds for the Rotary Foundation. The collective strength of close to 1.2 million members worldwide, allows Rotary to tackle some major global challenges. Most successful and sustainable projects and activities tend to fall within the following areas:
1. Fighting disease
3. Providing clean water
4. Saving mothers and children
5. Supporting education
6. Growing local economies
