Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce

Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce Driving Solutions for a Thriving Community A membership organization, the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce was established in 1773.

Since that time, the Chamber has been the voice of the business community. The Charleston Chamber has been extremely active in the Charleston region. From originating and supporting a proposal to construct a railroad to successfully arguing for a tax supported free public school system, the Chamber has been an integral part of the Charleston community since its inception. Through various programs

and councils, the Chamber continues to move our region forward in every facet of the community: workforce, growth, public policy and regionalism.

From the connections we help build to the programs we run, everything we do comes back to our members: your purpose, your growth, your future.

Now we need your voice to help shape what comes next. Our membership survey is open through August 28—tell us what's working, what's not and what deserves more of our attention.

Take five minutes to share your voice. (Plus, two members who complete the survey will win a $250 gift card to Halls Chophouse): https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/XFWLV6J

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Senator Lindsey Graham. Throughout his decades of public service, he was a steadfast advocate for South Carolina and the Charleston region. His unwavering support for Joint Base Charleston and the United States Coast Guard strengthened our regional economy, advanced our national security and helped secure long-term investment in our community.

Senator Graham was a valued friend and partner of the Chamber, and his leadership and dedication to our region will leave a lasting legacy.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, colleagues and all who mourn his passing.

Charleston…meet Denver.

One of the country's fastest-growing metros, the Mile High City has made bold, intentional investments in its own future—and it's paying off. Foot traffic downtown is climbing, billions in private development have followed and a former military base is now one of the region's leading innovation hubs.

This October, we're taking our region's leaders inside the spaces driving that momentum and building lasting relationships along the way.

The conversations are candid. The connections are lasting. The spots are limited.

Registration is open now: https://bit.ly/4aGqT6t

Leadership has a way of getting more complicated the longer you do it.

Decisions carry more gray area. Conversations have new obstacles. Every person on your team brings a different perspective, and every challenge calls for a curated approach.

That's why leaders who make a difference never stop learning.

Insightful Leadership, guided by Kenya Dunn, helps you strengthen your emotional intelligence, build cultural awareness and lead with more confidence and intention.

Registration closes July 24 and classes begin August 4. Apply here: https://bit.ly/4iDt8s5
