June 27, 2026 we coming together to make a difference in our community! This ain’t just about picking up trash — it’s about showing our kids what unity, leadership, respect, and community pride look like. 💪🏾 For the last 5 years, Positive Vibes Mentorship Program has been on the ground doing the work — mentoring youth, helping families, feeding the community, interrupting violence, and creating positive pathways for our young people. Now it’s time for all of us to come together and continue that mission! 🙌🏾

We got you! Students, young adults, and anyone needing community service hours can earn them by volunteering at this event. Hours will be verified and documented. ✅ 🙌🏾 Want to Volunteer?

Yesterday was really good at the Fishing Rodeo & Camp! Being a part of this event was powerful. Me and Popsmurt had a great time helping the kids put up tents and talking to them about choices, respect, and life.As Interrupter To Violence, One thing we love is when we share our stories and the kids talk back and open up. It doesn’t matter if they’re from Kingstree Sc Charleston, the country, or the city they need to hear our story. They need to know that your past doesn’t define your future. Real conversations and real-life experiences can make a real difference. County Councilman Paul McKnight and his team did a great job putting this together with the Masons, DJJ, SCDNR, and all the partners. The kids had a great time and loved every minute of it! 🎣🏕️💙 We’re planning a boot camp to bring our boys out there for a weekend and give them our full attention. As Mentors and Interrupters to Violence, this is part of the solution to saving our boys getting them away from distractions, teaching life skills, accountability, respect, and showing them different opportunities in life.

This is what the Positive Pathway Program is all about. When the sign-up sheet drops, make sure you put your kids on the list! The village has to keep showing up for our youth. Together, we can save lives, change mindsets, and create a better future. 💪🏾🔥💙

🧡💜 Yesterday’s United for Safety luncheon was a powerful meeting, and I want to thank everyone who took the time to come out and be part of the conversation. 🙏🏾

We brought together law enforcement 🚔, the Solicitor’s Office ⚖️, Public Defender’s Office, DJJ, detention center staff, mental health professionals 🧠, community leaders 🤝, and other agencies—all in one room focused on one thing: finding real solutions to stop gun violence and help our families.At the end of the meeting, I spoke about why we are here. We are here because our kids need us. 👦🏾👧🏾 We are here because too many families are hurting. 💔 We are here because we have to understand the root causes of why some young people are angry, struggling, and making decisions that put their future at risk.

One thing I shared is that many families are carrying heavy burdens. Some parents are struggling just to keep the lights on 💡, pay water bills 🚰, and make ends meet. Some kids are forced to grow up too fast and feel like they have to help provide for the household instead of just being kids.That’s why we are developing the Positive Vibes Pathway Program. 🏡✨ This program will focus on the entire family through wraparound services. We want to go into homes, identify needs, connect parents to jobs 💼, resources 📚, financial stability 💰, and even pathways toward homeownership 🏠. If we truly want to change lives, we have to start in the home.This meeting was about bringing people together, but in September we’re taking it a step further with our next meeting: “The Solution.” 💡 We’ll be focused on turning conversations into action and building real pathways for our youth and families.For the last five years, Positive Vibes has been doing this work. 💜 We’ve had challenges like every nonprofit does, but we’ve also seen success. 🎓 We’ve watched young people graduate high school, change their lives, and make better choices. Those victories are why we keep pushing forward.Sadly, in just the last few days, we’ve lost more young people to gun violence during Gun Violence Awareness Month. 🧡🕊️ That’s why this work matters. We have to keep fighting, keep building partnerships, and keep putting resources where they are needed most.I want to thank Ms. Candy 🍽️ for the amazing food, my team 💪🏾 for helping put this event together, Mrs.Pinckney and Detention Center officers,DJJ Probation officer , the Solicitor’s Office, the Public Defender’s Office, law enforcement, mental health partners, Nonprofit and every agency and community leader who showed up ready to be part of the solution.If you want to get involved with the Positive Vibes Pathway Program or Positive Vibes Interrupters to Violence, we welcome you. 🤝 This work is about giving your time, helping families, and creating change.

This what it’s all about right here… bringing families, mentors, youth, and the community together in prayer, love, and support. During Gun Violence Awareness Month, we praying for every family that lost a loved one to gun violence and standing with everybody still hurting. 💜🕊️This picture speaks volumes right here. The kids in the middle and the village all around them… that’s how change starts. It take a community to protect, guide, love, and uplift our youth. These kids need people standing behind them, praying for them, and showing them a better way every single day. 💯
This program is bigger than words. It’s changing lives, building leaders, and showing our youth they got people that truly care. I love my team because everybody in this circle got a real heart for the community and want to see our kids win in life. Together we bringing hope, peace, and positive vibes back to our neighborhoods! 🙏🏾💜

Too many mothers, fathers, families, and communities are hurting from gun violence. This is bigger than social media posts this is about saving lives and protecting our youth before it’s too late.Please take the time to read this flyer and get involved. Whether it’s mentoring, supporting programs, helping create jobs, speaking to our youth, or simply showing up for the community everybody can play a part in making a change.Real change starts when communities come together instead of waiting for another life to be lost.
