On yesterday Positive Vibes Mentoring Group/Positive Vibes Ronjanae Smith Inc. along with Greater St Luke AME Church and Simmons Pinckney Middle had the pleasure and honor to attend the SC State Bulldogs/SC State University Youth Game Day.

Thanks to my bro Jaeron Holmes with The Original Charleo Co. for producing the transfers at the last minute for our Positive Vibes shirt and my bro Allen Deejayjuice Byrd for allowing me to use his tshirt press machine on Friday evening to make it possible for each child of Positive Vibes to have a tshirt on Saturday morning. Saturday, September 26th, Positive Vibes is hitting the South Side for our Community Cleanup & Community Feeding! 💪🏿🧡

🧹 Cleanup: 9AM–11AM
🍽️ Feeding: 11AM–1PM
📍 3355 River Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405

If you NEED COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS, this is your opportunity to come out, put some work in, and get your hours! 💯 Adults, youth, groups, organizations—EVERYBODY is welcome.

If you just want to help make our community look better, COME ON OUT! Bring gloves, trash bags, cases of water, drinks, food, plates, utensils, or anything that can help us serve the people. Even if you can’t stay the whole time, you can still pull up and drop items off. 🙏🏿

Our mentees LOVE being out here because we’re teaching them early: you can’t just talk about changing your community—you gotta put your hands to the work! 💪🏿

Please help us welcome Donette Gibson, the new Treasurer of Positive Vibes Ronjanae Smith Inc. and the Positive Vibes Pathway Program!

Donette is a Charleston native with a strong heart for empowering our youth and community. She works as a Senior Compliance Analyst for a South Carolina Medicaid plan and holds degrees in Political Science, Business Administration, and Health Care Law and Compliance.

As a mother, grandmother, business owner, and woman of faith, Donette truly believes in being part of the village that uplifts our children. She brings professional financial experience, leadership, and a real commitment to helping our organization grow and make an even greater impact.

Due to the chance of rain tomorrow and throughout the weekend, the Positive Vibes Mentoring Group’s Community Cleanup and Community Feeding scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2026, have been cancelled.

🚨Welcome Steve Vice President of Positive Vibes!🚨

We are proud to officially welcome Steve as the Vice President of Positive Vibes Ronjanae Smith Inc. and the Positive Vibes Pathway Program! 💪🏿💙

Raised in the Kansas City area, Steve enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at just 17 years old, serving around the world before retiring in 2009. After retirement, Steve and his wife, Amanda, made North Charleston home, where they raised their daughters, Sydney and Shelby. Steve isn’t new to Positive Vibes he has been standing with us and helping us serve the community for the past 5 years. He has seen the work, understands the mission, and knows this is bigger than a title. Steve brings leadership, discipline, structure, accountability, and a heart for serving people. In his new role, he will help us strengthen our programs and projects, build partnerships, and create more opportunities for our youth and families. He will also play a major role in our reentry work, helping individuals coming home get connected to jobs, resources, mentorship, life skills, and the support they need to get back on their feet and stay on the right path. We believe in second chances, but we also believe people need real opportunities to make those second chances work. Steve knows what it means to serve, lead, and stand beside people and that’s exactly what we need as Positive Vibes continues to grow. He will also help us build stronger systems behind the scenes so Positive Vibes can continue growing and reaching more youth and families.

🚨 BIG MOVE FOR POSITIVE VIBES! 🚨

I’m proud to officially welcome Stacey L. Murray as the NEW PRESIDENT of Positive Vibes Ronjanae Smith Inc. & Positive Vibes Pathway Program! 💪🏿🔥

I truly believe Stacey is the RIGHT person for this job and the direction we’re headed. She brings a strong background in education, state government, nonprofit leadership, human resources, workforce development, business development, and community engagement.
Stacey has served as a Chief Human Resources Officer, helping lead an organization of more than 11,000 employees with a $400 million operating and capital budget. She also holds multiple degrees in business and education and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Organization Development. 🎓 But beyond the résumé, what matters to me is that she believes in the mission. She has a passion for mentoring, developing leaders, creating career opportunities, and helping young people build a better future. We built Positive Vibes through pain, purpose, sacrifice, and REAL boots-on-the-ground work. Now it’s time to add more structure, build stronger partnerships, bring in more resources, and take this mission to another level! 💯
