Call for Volunteers and Mentors!!

FIRST Tech Challenge in South Carolina is in need of a diverse group of local volunteers who can be mentors for teams or judges for our tournaments and championship events. Over 50% of the Lowcountry teams are in their first or second year of competition. With COVID restrictions over the past year and a half, many of these newer teams are finding it very difficult to recruit outside technical and non-technical mentors. For judges, the last three events listed in the table below are the events needing judges, plus we expect to do some judge practice days in December and January as well.

Please contact Linda Stewart at [email protected] for more information.

The FIRST Mentor Network is an interactive platform allowing teams and interested mentors to easily find each other for virtual or face-to-face mentorship.
