Family Promise of Cape May County WHO ARE THE HOMELESS OF CAPE MAY COUNTY? People just like you. They work, pay their bills, their mortgage or rent, until something unexpected happens.

Our mission is to keep homeless families together during their time of crisis by providing shelter, meals and support
services needed to educate, encourage and empower families in their quest to re-establish their individual pride and independence. Suddenly they find themselves without enough money to cover those bills. Given the high cost of housing in our region, they sometimes lose their home and are often too embarrassed to ask for help. We serve both single and dual-parent families. Homelessness disrupts virtually every aspect of our guests’ family life, occasionally damaging the physical and/or emotional health of all family members. It interferes with children’s education and development, and frequently results in the separation of family members. It can be a devastating experience.

Join Us Tomorrow! 💙 Family Promise of Cape May County invites you to join our Family Advocate, Sherry Hazel, tomorrow, Saturday, October 10th, at 9:30 AM at Tabernacle United Methodist Church.

Sherry will share our mission, the work we do to support local working families with children facing housing insecurity, and how our community can come together to make a difference.

Every family deserves hope, stability, and a place to call home. Together, we can help make that possible! 💜💛

Your participation helps Family Promise of Cape May County support local families with children who are experiencing housing insecurity. Through homelessness prevention, temporary housing, rental assistance, case management, and other supportive services, we work to keep families together during times of crisis and help them move toward stable housing.
