Hi everyone! 💖

We’re looking for a few parent volunteers to help coach our 4th-7th grade youth cheerleaders this season! No professional coaching experience is needed — just a positive attitude, patience, and a willingness to help the girls learn, grow, and have fun.

Coaching is such a special way to be involved, encourage teamwork, and make great memories with the girls throughout the season. If you’ve ever thought about helping out, we would truly love to have you.

Please note that parent coaches must be approved by the youth cheer parent board, as this is a board decision and requirement for anyone helping in a coaching role. All approved parent coaches will also need to complete a background check.

Padded Flag Football! This year, North Canton Youth Football is taking a significant step by transitioning our traditional flag football league for grades 2 and 3 to a non-tackle padded flag format, enhancing both safety and the overall experience for our North Canton kids.
Non-Tackle Padded Flag introduces a flag football format that includes helmets and shoulder pads, allowing kids to pull flags rather than tackle. This approach helps young players become comfortable with protective gear before they transition to tackle football. During this off-season, the board of the Northern Stark Youth Football League voted to add the community of Plain Township (Golden Eagles) to our league for tackle football.

Our league consists of the Glenoak Golden Eagles, Green Bulldogs, Jackson Polar Bears, Lake Blue Streaks, North Canton Hoover Vikings, and the Perry Panthers.  The NSYFL is made up of tackle football teams in 4th, 5th, 6th & 7th grades.  We are proud to support each Community involved in our leag...

***Please support our High school cheer program with their little sweethearts cheer clinic***

Come join the North Canton Cheerleaders for our Little Sweethearts cheerleading clinic. Children from preschool through 6th grade are welcome to participate.

The clinic will focus on learning and practicing basic arm motions and jumps, along with learning chants, a cheer, and a mini dance. This clinic is designed to be engaging, age-appropriate, and a great introduction to cheerleading fundamentals.

All participating youth cheerleaders will have the opportunity to perform at the Hoover High School Varsity Basketball Game on February 17, 2026. 🩷
