Thanks for all the encouragement we received from everyone in the ITBHU community. It’s terrific.

Some of the band members had a pre-planned event next weekend given all the enthusiasm we decided to livestream it for the community.

Of course, a livestream can never match those side conversations over chai—laced with the customary “adjectives”—when you meet someone you haven’t seen since college. But we hope it gives you enough to start filling in the rest.

Presenting “Kashifornia” a new band formed just for DejaBHU 2026.

Spanning 40 years (late 1970 to mid 2010s) of IT BHU music tradition among them, these folks found each other and formed a new band via DejaBHU. They will be performing in 2026 DejaBHU for the first time.

What we all started is not just an event it’s a movement to revive our glorious musical lineage over half a century. Between bands and fans we have consistently had at least 50-100 folks every year who cared deeply about music. That’s 25-50k alumni across the world. We had 100 attendees last year this year is shaping to be 200+.

We are just getting started!
