If God called women to carry the gospel…
why are so many people still trying to silence them?

If the Holy Spirit was poured out on men AND women…
why are women still being told to shrink back?

And if women were trusted to carry the news of the resurrection first…
why are their voices suddenly “too much” now?

I’ve been in ministry for over 30 years.

I know what it feels like to be overlooked.
Dismissed.
Talked down to.
Silenced.

But at some point we have to ask:

Are people defending Scripture…
or defending comfort, tradition, and control?

Because God has never had a problem using women.

People do.

So how many women have stayed quiet…
while carrying a calling God never asked them to bury?

How many voices have been silenced by fear of criticism?
How many gifts have been hidden because someone told them they were “too much”?

Not anymore.

If God called you to speak, lead, teach, worship, encourage, create, or disciple…
why would you let fearful people talk you out of obedience?

Maybe the real question is:
Who told women their voice was dangerous in the first place?

One of the hardest parts about conversations today is that many people are no longer actually listening.

The moment a question is asked, people immediately begin trying to figure out:
“Where is this going?”
“What’s their agenda?”
“What answer are they looking for?”
“What trap am I walking into?”

So instead of simply hearing the question, they start preparing defenses.

They begin filtering every word through suspicion, fear, past experiences, ideology, or self-protection.

And once that happens, honest conversation becomes almost impossible.

People stop responding truthfully from conviction and start responding strategically to protect themselves, their position, or the outcome they think is coming.

Somewhere along the way, many conversations stopped being about understanding and became about survival.

And honestly, that should grieve us.

Not every question is a setup.
Not every conversation is an attack.
Not every disagreement is manipulation.

Sometimes people are simply trying to understand each other.

Truth should never be afraid of honest conversation.

Why is “partnership” and “teamwork” considered beautiful in almost every area of life…

until it’s applied to marriage?

In business, friendships, sports, and everyday life, we celebrate people working together, honoring each other, and building side by side.

But somehow in marriage, some people act like partnership weakens the relationship instead of strengthening it. Like it’s kryptonite.

Maybe mutual love, submission, honor, respect, shared strength, and walking side by side were never the threat people made them out to be.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there. 🤍

To the ones spending the day surrounded by family… To the ones sneaking away for quiet and rest… To the moms making breakfast, taking naps, going on adventures, sitting in lawn chairs, traveling, grilling, laughing, crying, healing, or just trying to breathe for a minute…

I hope today feels like you.

No pressure. No performance. No perfect expectations.

Just a day where you feel seen, appreciated, and deeply loved.
Be blessed today. 🌿

What if we’ve gotten something off from the very beginning?

Not in a condemning way… just in an honest, “are we seeing this clearly?” kind of way.

Because when I go back and read Genesis 1:26–28… I can’t ignore what’s actually there.

It says God created man and woman in His image.

Not partially. Not one more than the other.

Both.

And then… He gave them dominion.

So here’s the question I keep coming back to…

Did God ever separate what He originally gave together?

Or did we start living out something that came after the fall like it was the original design?

Because before sin entered the picture there’s no tension in the text.

No hierarchy being established.
No one leading while the other stands behind.

It just says He spoke to them.
He blessed them.
He gave responsibility to them.

So what changed?

And are we building our beliefs on creation or are we unknowingly building from the effects of the curse?

I’m not saying I have this all figured out.

But I am asking…
What if God’s original design was more unified, more shared, and more aligned than what we’ve been taught to see?

And what would shift if we actually went back and looked at it that way?

From the beginning, God didn’t assign leadership to one and exclude the other.

He spoke to both.

"So God created mankind in his own image... male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them... 'fill the earth and subdue it. Rule...'" — Genesis 1:27–28

In this passage, the instruction to “rule” and “subdue” is given to both the man and the woman together.

It wasn’t divided. It wasn’t hierarchical. It was shared.

This shows us something important about God’s original design:
before culture and interpretation, there was shared responsibility and shared stewardship.

That doesn’t remove order.

It clarifies assignment.

Leadership, in its purest form, isn’t about gender.

It’s about reflecting the Image of God and faithfully carrying what He’s entrusted to us.

When we understand that, we stop limiting who gets to lead…
and start focusing on how we lead well.

2026: Still Here. But Not the Same.

Last year was quiet.

2025 was a year of rest…
of stripping things down…
of asking hard questions…
and letting God rebuild what needed to be rebuilt.

And now?

I’m still here.

But I’m stepping back in differently.

This season is going to look like truth.
Not surface-level. Not spoon-fed. Not borrowed belief.

We’re going deeper.

I’m going to challenge you—lovingly, but directly:

Why do you believe what you believe?
Is it because you’ve actually studied the Word…
or because it’s what you’ve always been told?

Because those are not the same thing.
A lot of what we “believe is biblical”…
we’ve never actually studied in full context.
We’ve heard it. Repeated it. Accepted it.

But then you go back and actually read it…
and realize:
There’s more there than you were taught.

And if we’re honest…
we don’t come to Scripture neutral.
We bring our experiences.

Our wounds.
Our traditions.
Our preferences.

And all of that shapes how we read it.

So this season?

I’m inviting you to do something different.

Go back.
Reread.
Slow down.
Ask questions.
Not to prove a point.

But to actually understand truth.

I’m not claiming I’ll get everything perfect.

But I am committed to growing in wisdom,
in understanding,
and in truly knowing who Jesus is.
Because the more you actually know Him…
the more you realize:

He leads people into freedom. Not control.
And I want to see the Body of Christ walk in that freedom.

Not bound by tradition.
Not limited by incomplete teaching.
Not repeating things we’ve never examined.
But rooted in truth.

So if you’re here for that…

Stay.

We’re going to ask better questions.
We’re going to read deeper.
And we’re going to let truth speak for itself.

No one talks to you more than you do.

So if your words are filled with doubt, fear, and limitation…

don’t be surprised when your life reflects it.

Change the words.

Watch what follows.

Life and death are in the power of the tongue.
Proverbs 18:21

“Wives submit” was never the full story.
Mutual submission was.

Truth sounds different
when you read the whole thing.
