Good news for drivers: starting Labor Day, Monday, September 7, the temporary bus-only lanes on MD 355 (Wisconsin Avenue) will reopen to all vehicle traffic. The Maryland State Highway Administration will begin removing the lanes and associated signage that day, with work continuing through September 11 as crews restripe the road and restore original on-street parking.

These temporary lanes supported free shuttle service between the North Bethesda and Friendship Heights Metro stations during this summer's Red Line construction project, which has now wrapped up. Thanks to everyone for your patience during the shutdown!

Starting this Friday! Join us for another Fall Friday Salsa event in the Pike District Pop Up Park with All Out Danza! Friday Night Salsa Return to the Pike District!

Grab your friends and head to the Pike District Pop-Up Park every Friday from September through October from 6-8 p.m. for Friday Night Salsa! Beginners and seasoned dancers are all welcome, no partner needed.

Each evening kicks off with a free beginner-friendly lesson led by All Out Danza, then the dance floor opens up for community dancing under the stars.

It's the perfect way to kick off your weekend. See you on the dance floor!

Pike Central Farm Market returns to the Pike & Rose Bark Social parking lot this Saturday, August 29th from 9 AM to 1 PM. Shop fresh, local, seasonal goods from a great lineup of vendors, enjoy live music, and sample tastings from Maryland wineries and farm breweries.

WAMU 88.5 - American University Radio will also be joining the market this month. Stop by their table at the entrance to meet Jenny Abamu, WAMU's reporter covering Montgomery County, and pick up some free swag.

There's a striking mural worth checking out at The Pinnacle in North Bethesda. Titled Pay it Forward, Family + Friends, the piece comes from Baltimore-born, DC-based artist Brandon Hill, whose work spans painting, sculpture, and large-scale murals for clients like Disney and The Washington Post.

The mural celebrates the idea of "paying it forward," with vibrant colors and imagery of helping hands honoring the wisdom and generational connections seniors bring to our community.

You'll find it at The Pinnacle, located at the corner of Towne and Old Georgetown roads in the heart of the Pike District. Stop by and take a look!
